Warres King Tawny Port NV

Warre’s King Tawny Port is a traditional style Tawny crafted from a blend of wines aged in oak vats to achieve a harmonious balance of fruit, oak, and oxidation. Using fruit from the Douro Valley, the wine is matured to reveal a smooth, mellow profile while retaining freshness.

Bouquet
The nose is rich with aromas of roasted nuts, dried figs, and toffee, backed by hints of cinnamon and warm spice.

Palate
On the palate, it is soft and rounded with notes of hazelnut, caramel, and stewed stone fruits. Gentle oak tannins provide structure, while a touch of spice carries the finish long and smooth.

Food Pairing
Enjoy it with spiced apple tart, fruit cake, or a wedge of creamy blue cheese. Also a fine match with roasted nuts or dark chocolate.

Cellaring
Ready to enjoy on release, this Tawny will remain fresh for several weeks after opening if stored in a cool place with the cork replaced.

Warre’s is the oldest British Port house in Portugal, established in 1670. The "King" label pays tribute to the noble traditions of Tawny Port enjoyed across centuries.
