Winemaking Villa Wolf Rosé 2021 is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grown in Germany’s sun-soaked Pfalz region. Made using the saignée method, where juice is drawn from red grapes after brief skin contact, the wine captures beautiful colour and flavour without heaviness. Fermented in stainless steel to retain purity and freshness, it’s an elegant, dry rosé with lively character and cool-climate finesse.
Bouquet Bright and lifted with aromas of wild strawberry, red cherry and watermelon. Hints of rose petal and citrus zest bring charm and freshness.
Palate Dry, crisp and refreshing, the palate reveals flavours of raspberry, peach and cranberry, supported by vibrant acidity and a clean, mineral finish. Light-bodied but flavourful, it’s an effortlessly drinkable style with a touch of sophistication.
Food Pairing Perfect with summer salads, grilled salmon, or goat cheese and beetroot tart. Also pairs beautifully with sushi, prawns or fresh bruschetta.
Cellaring Designed to be enjoyed young and fresh—best enjoyed within 1–2 years of vintage for peak vibrancy.
Interesting Fact Villa Wolf is the German sister winery to the acclaimed Dr. Loosen estate in the Mosel, and their Pfalz rosé is considered one of Germany’s most charming expressions of Pinot Noir in pink.
