Crafted in Mendoza, Argentina’s renowned wine capital, the 2024 Trapiche Oak Cask Malbec is made from high-altitude vineyards and matured in oak for added structure and complexity. The wine is vinified with gentle extraction to retain fruit purity, then aged in a combination of French and American oak to build soft tannins and spicy depth. A bold yet balanced red ideal for everyday enjoyment or casual dinner pairings.
Bouquet Fragrant and fruit-forward with ripe blackberry, plum, and violet notes, layered with hints of vanilla, mocha, and sweet spice from oak ageing.
Palate Smooth and generous. Black cherry and dark berry fruit lead into warm cocoa, cedar, and cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied with soft tannins and a long, juicy finish.
Food Pairing Perfect with grilled steak, smoky barbecue ribs, or spiced lentil stew. Also great with hard cheeses or mushroom risotto.
Cellaring Drink now through 2028. Will develop added softness over 2–3 years if cellared well.
Interesting Fact Trapiche is one of Argentina’s most awarded wineries and was among the first to export Malbec globally—helping put this bold red varietal on the world map.
