From the sun-drenched Rapaura soils of Marlborough comes this elegant, single-vineyard Chardonnay—a wine that balances richness with restraint. Hand-harvested and barrel-fermented in French oak, ‘Josephine’ 2022 offers a refined expression of Marlborough terroir.

The bouquet reveals ripe white peach, citrus blossom, and a hint of sea breeze, leading into a palate layered with stone fruit, toasted hazelnut, and a touch of flinty minerality. A creamy texture from extended lees aging is perfectly counterbalanced by vibrant acidity, culminating in a long, harmonious finish.

The 2022 vintage in Marlborough was marked by a return to normalcy, yielding wines of excellent quality and balance. 

Drink now or cellar through 2028. Pair with roast chicken, creamy pasta, or rich seafood dishes.
