Winemaking
Crafted from estate-grown fruit on the Davey family’s vineyard in McLaren Vale, this Shiraz is a deep, powerful red aged in a combination of French and American oak. The 2020 vintage reflects the bold character of the region, showing plush fruit, structure, and signature smoothness.

Bouquet
Dark plum, blackberry, and cherry liqueur dominate the nose, with lifted notes of mocha, vanilla, black pepper, and roasted spice.

Palate
Full-bodied and rich with ripe dark fruit, silky tannins, and a warm, toasty oak backbone. Hints of dark chocolate and liquorice lead to a long, velvety finish.

Food Pairing
Perfect with slow-cooked beef, smoky BBQ ribs, peppered steak, or aged cheddar. A classic Aussie Shiraz made for hearty fare.

Cellaring
Drinking beautifully now but will reward cellaring for 6–10 years with greater complexity and integration.
