Ramon Jané Escumos Tinc Set 2022 is a natural sparkling wine from the Penedès region in Spain, made by artisan winemaker Ramon Jané. This wine is produced using the ancestral method, also known as pétillant naturel or pét-nat. Unlike traditional sparkling wines, which go through a second fermentation in the bottle, pét-nat wines undergo this fermentation only once, creating gentle natural bubbles. This process is less interventionist, meaning the wine is unfiltered, unfined, and contains little to no added sulphites, allowing the pure character of the grapes to shine. It is made from a blend of indigenous white grapes Xarel·lo and Parellada, known for their fresh acidity and aromatic qualities.
