Made from 100% Cannonau (the Sardinian name for Grenache), this wine is sourced from sustainably farmed vineyards in Serdiana, in southern Sardinia. The 2021 vintage was fermented in stainless steel and matured for several months in concrete and seasoned oak vats to preserve fruit purity and regional character. The result is a bold, expressive red that balances ripeness with Mediterranean freshness.
Bouquet Fragrant and spicy with aromas of blackberry, black cherry and wild herbs. Subtle notes of liquorice, violet and warm earth add a rustic charm.
Palate Medium to full-bodied with smooth tannins and generous fruit. Flavours of ripe plum, redcurrant and baking spice glide across a savoury, slightly smoky palate. The finish is long, supple and distinctly Mediterranean.
Food Pairing A natural match for grilled lamb, charcuterie, roasted aubergine or aged pecorino. Also excellent with tomato-based pasta or herby sausage dishes.
