Misha’s Vineyard The High Note Pinot Noir 2021 is crafted from premium fruit grown on the dramatic slopes of Bendigo Station in Central Otago. The site's glacial schist soils and cool nights produce grapes with intense flavour and natural elegance. Hand-harvested, wild fermented, and aged in French oak, The High Note captures the lively, sophisticated style that defines this exceptional vineyard.
Bouquet Perfumed with bright red cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, interwoven with notes of rose petals, spice and a hint of wild thyme.
Palate Silky and vibrant with red berry fruits, fine tannins, a touch of savoury spice and a mineral thread. Fresh acidity lifts the palate into a long, refined, and expressive finish.
Food Pairing Perfect with Italian prosciutto pizza, French duck breast, New Zealand lamb cutlets, or wild mushroom ravioli. Also beautiful with aged soft cheeses.
Cellaring Beautiful now but will evolve gracefully through to 2030. A brief decant is recommended to fully reveal its perfumed aromatics and texture.
Interesting Fact Misha’s Vineyard is named after Misha Wilkinson, whose passion for both opera and wine inspired The High Note—an elegant, lyrical Pinot Noir that sings of Central Otago’s beauty.
