Lustau Manzanilla Papirusa is crafted in the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda, where the Atlantic influence enhances the freshness of this unique sherry style. Made from 100% Palomino Fino, the wine is aged under a layer of flor in traditional solera casks for around five years. The result is a bone-dry, saline style with elegance and finesse, showcasing the purity of Manzanilla from its most classic source.
Bouquet Delicate and savoury with aromas of green apple, chamomile and sea spray. Notes of raw almond and freshly baked bread add complexity and lift.
Palate Bone dry and feather-light with bright acidity and a salty tang. Flavours of lemon peel, nuts and fresh herbs glide across a crisp, mineral palate. The finish is clean, refreshing and slightly briny.
Food Pairing Perfect with oysters, anchovies, olives, jamón ibérico or sushi. Also excellent with almonds, grilled fish or Mediterranean starters.
