Inspired by the historic style of sherries that matured on long sea voyages, Lustau East India Sherry is a blend of aged Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez. The wines are matured separately in traditional solera systems for over 12 years before blending and additional cask ageing. This extended maturation adds richness and complexity, resulting in a luxurious, balanced sweet sherry with broad appeal.
Bouquet Aromatic and warming, with notes of raisins, roasted walnut, molasses, and candied orange. Subtle undertones of cocoa, spice, and polished wood add to its depth.
Palate Velvety and sweet, yet beautifully balanced. Flavours of dried fig, toffee, dark caramel, and soft spice unfold in layers, supported by fresh acidity. The finish is long and nutty with a luscious, warming character.
Food Pairing Delicious with sticky date pudding, blue cheese, pecan pie, or chocolate desserts. Also pairs beautifully with spiced nuts or after-dinner sipping on its own.
Cellaring Ready to enjoy now. Once opened, it will remain fresh for 4–6 weeks when stored cool and sealed. No need to decant.
