Founded in 1877 by Jean Bouillot and now led by Jean-Claude Boisset, the Louis Bouillot estate is a benchmark for Crémant de Bourgogne. This non-vintage wine is crafted from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay and Aligoté grapes grown in the Côte d’Or. Made using the Traditional Method and aged for at least 12 months on lees, it gains complexity and finesse while preserving freshness and fruit purity.
Bouquet Bright and expressive with aromas of redcurrant, cherry and blackberry layered with lime blossom, elderflower and honeysuckle. Delicate and floral with a sense of springtime in a glass.
Palate Lively and crisp, the palate offers rounded citrus, subtle berry notes and an elegant line of acidity. The mousse is fine and persistent, carrying the fruit through to a clean, dry finish that lingers with charm.
Food Pairing Wonderfully versatile. Try it with warm pretzels, pork pâté in pastry, or parslied ham with mustard. Great alongside cocktail sausages, smoked almonds or fried halloumi.
