Lillet Rosé is a delicate and elegant French aperitif wine crafted in Podensac, Bordeaux, using a blend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Merlot grapes, lightly fortified and infused with macerated citrus liqueurs and natural fruit extracts. Designed as a more floral and fruit-forward sibling to Lillet Blanc, it’s perfect for summer sipping, with gentle bitterness and refreshing finesse. Lightly aged in oak for balance and smoothness.
Bouquet Expressive and aromatic, with notes of wild strawberry, grapefruit, orange blossom and fresh red berries. A subtle lift of spice and honeysuckle rounds out the nose.
Palate Fresh, juicy and beautifully balanced. Flavours of ripe berries, pink grapefruit, citrus peel and floral herbs glide over a lightly sweetened palate. The finish is clean and gently bitter, making it ideal for aperitif moments.
Food Pairing Serve chilled over ice with a slice of orange or strawberry, or top with tonic or sparkling wine for a Rosé Spritz. Pairs well with charcuterie, chèvre, citrus salads, or seafood canapés.
Cellaring Best enjoyed young and fresh. Once opened, store in the fridge and enjoy within 3–4 weeks to preserve flavour and aromatics.
Interesting Fact Lillet Rosé was introduced in 2011, becoming the first new addition to the Lillet range in over 50 years—a modern take on the aperitif tradition with a fruity twist, perfect for contemporary cocktail culture.
