Crafted from Margaret River’s finest fruit, the 2019 vintage is a standout expression of precision and power. Whole bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barriques (100% new), this wine underwent regular bâtonnage and full malolactic fermentation, creating a seamless integration of richness and tension. It was matured for 11 months before blending and bottling.
Bouquet Aromatically complex, it opens with grapefruit pith, white nectarine, and lime curd, laced with cashew, flint, and a whiff of struck match. Subtle notes of chamomile, cinnamon, and sea spray build in the glass.
Palate Elegant and layered, this Chardonnay strikes a perfect balance between opulence and restraint. Creamy stone fruit and citrus merge with roasted almond, nougat, and fine oak spice. The texture is pure and silky, driven by bright acidity and a salty, mineral-laced finish that lingers with clarity and finesse.
Food Pairing Ideal with fine seafood such as crayfish or seared scallops, but equally impressive alongside roasted chicken, creamy truffle pasta, or a rich mushroom risotto.
Cellaring A wine built for the long haul. Drink now with decanting, or cellar confidently through to 2035 and beyond.
Interesting Fact The label artwork for each vintage in the Art Series range is selected from prominent Australian contemporary artists—further solidifying this wine as a cultural and vinous icon.
