Made from 100% Finnish wholegrain rye, Kyrö Rye Single Malt is distilled in Isokyrö, Finland, using traditional pot stills. The whisky is aged in a combination of ex-bourbon, new American oak, and French oak barrels, developing complexity in Finland’s contrasting climate. It is non-chill filtered and bottled without additives—pure rye character, the Nordic way.
Aroma Spicy and robust on the nose with hints of black pepper, vanilla, orange peel, toasted grain, and fresh dill. There’s a subtle creaminess underneath that softens the spice.
Palate Vibrant and warming, with notes of rye spice, caramel, liquorice root, citrus, and gentle oak. A touch of herbal savouriness and balanced sweetness carries through to a long, structured finish with lingering warmth.
Serving Suggestions Enjoy neat to appreciate its depth, or with a splash of water to open the aromatics. Also excellent in a bold Old Fashioned or Nordic-style Manhattan.
Cellaring Drink now or hold for a few years unopened. Once opened, store upright in a cool, dark place and enjoy within 1–2 years.
