Kanonkop Kadette Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 is crafted from hand-picked fruit grown on Stellenbosch’s prime slopes. Traditional open-top fermentation and ageing in seasoned French oak barrels build structure, depth and smoothness while allowing the vibrant fruit character and fine tannins to shine.

Bouquet
Rich and aromatic with notes of blackcurrant, plum, tobacco leaf, cedar, and a touch of warm spice.

Palate
Full-bodied and smooth with juicy dark fruits, polished tannins, savoury complexity, and a long, elegant finish. Classic and beautifully balanced.

Food Pairing
Perfect with grilled ribeye steak, slow-cooked beef brisket, lamb with rosemary and garlic, or a hearty mushroom and lentil pie.

Cellaring
Wonderful to enjoy now but will cellar gracefully through to 2028, gaining depth and supple richness over time.
