Distillation & Maturation
Jameson Black Barrel is a triple-distilled blend of rich pot still and grain whiskeys, matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks. What sets it apart is the use of double-charred bourbon barrels—resulting in extra smoothness, intensified vanilla sweetness and toasted spice. Bottled at 40%, it’s a richer, fuller-bodied take on the classic Jameson style.

Nose
Bold and rounded with aromas of toffee, vanilla bean, toasted oak and spice. Hints of dried fruit, banana and warm caramel add complexity.

Palate
Creamy and full-flavoured, the palate delivers butterscotch, fudge, cinnamon and dark fruit, all wrapped in toasted wood and black pepper. The finish is smooth and warming, with lingering notes of vanilla and baking spice.

Food Pairing
Perfect with barbecue ribs, spiced nuts or salted caramel desserts. Also delicious in an Old Fashioned or whiskey sour.

Cellaring
Ready to enjoy now. Holds its character well after opening and shines both neat and in cocktails.

Interesting Fact
The “Black Barrel” name comes from the twice-charred bourbon casks used in maturation—a process that enhances sweetness and depth, creating a whiskey that bridges traditional Irish smoothness with bourbon-like richness.
