Island Gin Original

Crafted on Great Barrier Island, Island Gin Original is a celebration of place, purity, and artisanal skill. Distilled using sustainably sourced botanicals and pristine island water, it’s made in small batches using a bespoke copper still. This is a true London Dry style, but with a distinctly New Zealand coastal spirit at its heart.

In 2025, Island Gin Original was crowned New Zealand’s Best London Dry Gin and awarded Gold—a testament to its impeccable clarity, balance, and unique island character.

Aroma
Bright and inviting, with classic juniper at the core. Fresh citrus zest, crushed coriander, and hints of native flora create a clean yet aromatic bouquet. A subtle saline note gives a nod to its coastal origins.

Palate
Smooth and impeccably balanced. Juniper leads the way, followed by lemon peel, wild herbs, and earthy spice. There’s a mineral freshness that adds structure, and a delicate lift of pepper and citrus on the finish. Exceptionally refined, it’s a gin that speaks of both tradition and terroir.
