Crafted by legendary winemaker Kevin Judd, Greywacke Sauvignon Blanc 2024 is sourced from mature vineyards across Marlborough’s Southern Valleys and Wairau Plains. The fruit was harvested in the cool of the night, gently pressed and fermented mostly in stainless steel with a small portion in old oak barrels to add texture and complexity. The resulting wine is a benchmark for Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc—vivid, aromatic and beautifully structured.
Bouquet Intensely aromatic with classic notes of passionfruit, grapefruit and ripe nectarine. Hints of lemongrass, fresh herbs and struck flint add vibrancy and tension.
Palate Dry, zesty and richly flavoured. Layers of tropical fruit, citrus peel and mineral salinity glide across a fine acid backbone. The palate is juicy yet refined, with a crisp, enduring finish.
Food Pairing Perfect with goat’s cheese, grilled seafood, Thai green curry or fresh summer salads. Also pairs beautifully with Vietnamese dishes or herby pasta.
Cellaring Drink now for its energy and freshness, or cellar through 2027 to enjoy a rounder, more savoury evolution.
