Crafted by one of Portugal’s most renowned port houses, Graham’s 10 Year Old Tawny is a blend of wines aged in seasoned oak casks for an average of a decade. Sourced from premium grapes grown in the Douro Valley, this port develops its character slowly over time, concentrating rich flavours and mellowing into a smooth, refined style. Each batch is carefully blended by the master blender to ensure a consistent and expressive house style.
Bouquet Aromas of dried figs, orange peel, toasted almonds, and warm spice, with underlying notes of butterscotch and aged wood. Rich and complex, yet lifted by sweet citrus and floral hints.
Palate Silky and beautifully balanced, the palate opens with flavours of caramelised nuts, dates, toffee, and spiced fruitcake. The sweetness is offset by subtle oak tannins and a hint of acidity, giving it a long, elegant finish with lingering warmth.
Food Pairing Enjoy slightly chilled with crème brûlée, salted caramel desserts, aged cheeses, or roasted nuts. It also pairs wonderfully with dried fruits or a square of dark chocolate after dinner.
Cellaring No further cellaring required. Once opened, it will remain fresh for up to 6 weeks if kept in a cool, dark place with the bottle sealed.
Interesting Fact Graham’s was one of the first port companies to invest in its own vineyards in the Douro Valley in the 19th century—a move that helped define the quality and consistency of their now world-famous tawny ports.
