Glen Scotia Victoriana is a richly flavoured, cask-strength single malt from the historic Campbeltown region. Selected from the distillery’s finest casks, it is finished in deeply charred oak barrels and bottled non-chill filtered at high strength. Inspired by 19th-century whisky styles, Victoriana delivers the powerful character and maritime charm that Campbeltown malts are known for—complex, warming, and full of depth.
Bouquet Dark and brooding aromas of charred oak, vanilla, blackcurrant, and subtle sea spray. A hint of spice and roasted coffee rounds out the nose.
Palate Velvety and robust. Rich flavours of dark chocolate, stewed plum, and burnt sugar are balanced by cracked pepper, toasted oak, and a whisper of coastal salinity. The high ABV adds heat and structure, finishing long and spicy with a touch of smoke.
Food Pairing Perfect with grilled steak, venison, or dark chocolate tart. Also excellent with mature cheeses or as a slow sipper by the fire.
Cellaring Bottled for immediate enjoyment but will remain stable for years when stored upright in a cool, dark place.
Interesting Fact Victoriana pays homage to Glen Scotia’s Victorian-era roots and is packaged in a green bottle reminiscent of 19th-century apothecary-style whisky—powerful in both look and taste.
