Dow’s Fine White Port is made from a blend of traditional white Portuguese grape varieties including Malvasia Fina, Rabigato, Viosinho and Códega. After fermentation on skins to enhance structure and aromatic lift, the wine is fortified and aged for around three years in seasoned oak vats. The style is fresh, lightly floral and gently sweet, designed to be served chilled as a refreshing aperitif or mixed in a classic Port & tonic.
Bouquet Delicate and aromatic with notes of honeysuckle, orange blossom, golden raisin and fresh citrus peel. A touch of almond and honey adds roundness.
Palate Smooth and off-dry with lively acidity. Flavours of lemon zest, stone fruit, and white flowers are balanced by subtle nutty undertones and a crisp, clean finish.
Food Pairing Serve chilled on its own or with roasted nuts, soft cheeses, pâté or charcuterie. Also excellent with seafood entrées or as the base for a white Port and tonic with a slice of lemon or rosemary.
Cellaring Best enjoyed young and fresh. Once opened, it will remain vibrant for 2–3 weeks when stored sealed and refrigerated.
Interesting Fact White Port is traditionally enjoyed in Portugal as a pre-dinner drink, and Dow’s version is a benchmark—elegant, versatile and ideal for summery sipping or stylish cocktails.
