Produced in Chambéry, France—the only AOC-designated vermouth region—Dolin Dry Vermouth continues a tradition dating back to the early 1800s. It is crafted from a base of local white wine and infused with more than 30 alpine herbs and botanicals, including chamomile, hyssop, and gentian. Lightly fortified and minimally sweetened, it is revered for its elegance and clarity.
Bouquet Lifted aromas of alpine herbs, citrus peel, and crushed white flowers. There’s a subtle earthiness in the background, offering structure without overpowering the nose.
Palate Clean, herbal, and dry, with notes of citrus zest, green apple skin, and alpine bitterness. The mouthfeel is lean and refreshing, with excellent minerality and a whisper of floral sweetness that lingers on the finish. Perfect as a balancing element in cocktails or as an aperitif over ice with a twist of lemon.
Food Pairing Serve chilled with fresh oysters, goat’s cheese, or anchovy crostini. It’s a benchmark vermouth for classic cocktails such as the Dry Martini or a French-style aperitif with soda and lemon.
Cellaring Best enjoyed within 3 to 6 months of opening. Store in the fridge and reseal to maintain freshness and aromatics.
Interesting Fact Dolin is one of the only producers permitted to use the Chambéry appellation—a mark of authenticity and history in the world of vermouth. Their dry style is often credited with helping define the original Martini.
