Delas Cotes du Rhone Rouge Saint-Esprit 2022

Winemaking
This southern Rhône red is made from Syrah and Grenache, sourced from vineyards in the Ardèche and Drôme. Fermented in stainless steel and aged to retain vibrancy and fruit purity, the 2022 vintage is smooth, fresh, and full of regional character.

Bouquet
Blackberry, raspberry, and dark cherry leap from the glass, with underlying hints of violet, pepper, and dried herbs.

Palate
Medium-bodied with juicy black fruits, soft tannins, and gentle spice. A touch of liquorice and earthiness leads to a smooth, savoury finish.

Food Pairing
Ideal with grilled meats, roast vegetables, bistro classics like coq au vin, or a simple charcuterie platter.

Cellaring
Best enjoyed young and fresh, though it will drink well through 2026. No need to decant, but a quick swirl brings out extra lift.

The “Saint-Esprit” label honours the Holy Spirit and reflects the heritage of Delas Frères, one of the Rhône’s most historic producers since 1835.
