The palate is exceptionally well-rounded, with intricate layers of peach, preserved citrus, and toasted nuts. A delicate acidity and captivating saline minerality perfectly balance the intense fruit core, delivering a fresh, palate-cleansing finish. Te Koko ferments in French oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, developing complexity over four to five months under the careful guidance of their winemaking team. It then rests on fine lees for 15 months before blending and maturation in Cloudy Bay's cellars. While ready to drink now, it will age beautifully for 5-10 years.
Food Pairings: Pairs wonderfully with a wide range of dishes. Try it with Chinese-style crispy pork belly, vibrant spicy dishes, or smoked salmon.
