Chateau Teyssier Cuvée Exception 2019 is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc, crafted from the finest grapes in the Montagne-Saint-Emilion appellation. This wine showcases intense aromas of dark berries, spices, and subtle earthy notes. On the palate, it is rich and full-bodied with concentrated flavours of blackberry, plum, and hints of oak. The structure is well-balanced, with firm tannins and a long, elegant finish. The 2019 vintage is considered one of the best from this estate, with the Cabernet Franc adding a backbone that complements the voluptuous Merlot​.

Chateau Teyssier has a storied history, with its current success attributed to Jonathan Maltus, who took over the estate in 1994 and introduced innovative winemaking techniques. Under his guidance, the estate has consistently produced high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of Saint-Emilion.
