Chateau Grand Moulin Vieilles Vignes Red 2020

The Corbières 2022 from the high terrace of Orbieu in Lézignan-Corbières is a full-bodied and fruity wine that strikes a perfect balance. Situated 35 meters above the Orbieu River, this terroir consists of pebbles deposited during ancient glaciations, resulting in soils prone to summer droughts with limited water and root penetration. Only indigenous grape varieties thrive in these extreme conditions. This wine presents a deep red colour and aromas of black fruits, scrubland, and hints of liquorice. On the palate, it offers a dense and elegant profile with integrated, velvety tannins. Ideal for ageing up to 7 years, it showcases the harmonious expression of Carignan, Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grapes, reflecting the unique terroir of its origin.
