Composed of 70% Merlot, 26% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon, this vintage offers a deep ruby colour and a complex bouquet of ripe black cherries, plums, and cassis, accented by notes of violets, cedar, and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is velvety and well-rounded, with layers of dark fruit flavours interwoven with fine-grained tannins and a balanced acidity. The integration of new French oak, which comprises about two-thirds of the ageing barrels, adds subtle vanilla and toast nuances, culminating in a long, refined finish.
