Production & Maturation Cenote Añejo Tequila is crafted from 100% blue Weber agave, grown in the nutrient-rich volcanic soils of Jalisco. After slow cooking and traditional fermentation, the tequila is double distilled and aged for over a year in American oak barrels. Bottled at 40%, Cenote Añejo blends depth, warmth and complexity while retaining bright agave character.
Nose Deep and aromatic, with notes of vanilla, caramel, roasted agave and warm oak. Hints of baking spice, toasted almond and citrus peel lift the bouquet.
Palate Smooth and full-bodied, the palate opens with butterscotch, charred oak, and dried fruit. A lingering touch of sweet agave and spice carries into a long, refined finish with soft tannins and a touch of smoke.
Food Pairing Perfect with grilled steak, dark chocolate, mole poblano or spiced almonds. Also lovely with blue cheese or pecan pie.
Cellaring Ready to enjoy now, though it will maintain elegance and complexity long after opening when stored well.
Interesting Fact Named after the stunning freshwater cenotes of the Yucatán Peninsula, Cenote Tequila is made using pure natural spring water filtered through limestone—adding a clean minerality that sets it apart.
