Catena Zapata Adrianna Vineyard Fortuna Terrae Malbec 2020

From the legendary Adrianna Vineyard in Mendoza’s Uco Valley, Fortuna Terrae means “luck of the land” in Latin. Planted at 1,200 metres above sea level in deep loamy soils, this site yields wines of remarkable purity and elegance. The 2020 vintage was fermented with native yeasts and aged in large oak foudres to preserve vineyard character.

Bouquet:
A highly perfumed nose of wild red berries, rose petals, crushed stones and a gentle savoury edge. Aromatically vivid with layers that unfold in the glass.

Palate:
Silky and detailed, this wine flows with finesse, offering red cherry, raspberry and plum laced with earthy spice and mineral notes. The tannins are ultra-fine, the acidity lively and the finish incredibly persistent and refined.

Food Pairing:
Sublime with duck breast, mushroom risotto or chargrilled eggplant with miso glaze. A wine that elevates the dining experience with style and subtlety.
