The Reid Single Malt Vodka by Cardrona Distillery is a celebration of purity, provenance and precision. Made from single malted barley and alpine water from the Cardrona Valley, this small-batch vodka is a true expression of New Zealand’s distilling excellence. It is entirely unfiltered, allowing the beauty of the malt and mineral-rich water to speak clearly in every glass.
Distillation Triple distilled through a hand-beaten copper pot still, The Reid is made using 100 percent malted barley, just like a single malt whisky. Unlike most vodkas, it is not charcoal filtered, leaving a rich texture and a hint of natural character.
Tasting Notes Exceptionally clean and smooth, with a gentle cereal sweetness and a whisper of white pepper. The texture is creamy and weighty, with a subtle hint of almond and citrus peel. The finish is long, elegant and pure, with no burn, just clarity.
Serving Suggestions Enjoy it neat to appreciate the softness and structure, or serve over ice with a twist of lemon. It also elevates classic vodka cocktails such as a Martini or Moscow Mule with its refined depth.
Provenance The Reid is named after the Reid family, pioneers of the Cardrona Valley, paying tribute to a legacy of tenacity and craftsmanship. Every drop is made on site at Cardrona Distillery, near Queenstown in the South Island.
