Crafted from fruit grown in California’s Clarksburg region, Bogle Merlot 2019 is aged for 12 months in American oak barrels, creating a rich and approachable style. The Bogle family’s hands-on approach to vineyard management and small-lot fermentation ensures depth, balance and consistency. This Merlot captures the variety’s softness with a generous core of ripe fruit and warm oak complexity.

Bouquet
Lush and aromatic with notes of black cherry, plum and vanilla. Hints of cocoa, cedar and sweet baking spice round out the nose.

Palate
Full and velvety with smooth tannins and plush fruit. Flavours of dark berry, chocolate and toasted oak lead into a long, silky finish with gentle warmth and depth.

Food Pairing
Ideal with roast lamb, grilled chicken, mushroom pasta or cheddar cheese. Also delicious with meatloaf, lentil stew or smoky barbecue dishes.
