Black Cottage Marlborough Pinot Noir 2022

With grapes sourced in the Southern Valleys, this Pinot Noir is fermented in open-top fermenters with 20% whole bunches and hand-plunged, this approach enhances the wine's perfumed berry fruit aromas and silky mouthfeel. Aged in French oak under the guidance of Winemaker Sanna Stander.

This wine presents a light garnet hue and a savoury, earthy profile, offering bright red cherries, raspberries, and hints of cinnamon spice. Its juicy palate unfolds with crunchy red currants, dried cranberries, and nuances of black olive and toasted coconut. With round tannins, excellent balance, and finesse, it pairs beautifully with hearty game dishes.
