Beach House Cabernet Franc 2020 is grown on free-draining gravel soils in the heart of Hawke’s Bay. The fruit was harvested during a warm, dry vintage that delivered excellent ripeness and varietal purity. Fermented in stainless steel and aged in a mix of older French oak barrels, the wine was handled gently to preserve fragrance and freshness. The result is a lively, medium-bodied red with elegance and regional charm.
Bouquet Perfumed and lifted with aromas of redcurrant, raspberry and plum. Hints of violet, dried herbs and cedar add classic varietal character.
Palate Bright and supple with silky tannins and juicy red fruit. Flavours of cherry, red liquorice and subtle spice flow through to a smooth, gently herbal finish with fresh acidity and balance.
Food Pairing Pair with herbed lamb cutlets, grilled pork, mushroom stroganoff or tomato-based pasta. Also excellent with beetroot salad or aged gouda.
