Barsol Quebranta Pisco is a Peruvian single-varietal pisco made exclusively from Quebranta grapes, a non-aromatic variety native to the Ica Valley. Distilled in small batches using traditional copper pot stills, it is bottled at distillation strength with no water added. This pure, unaged spirit is crafted with respect for centuries-old methods, resulting in a clean and expressive pisco that showcases the grape's natural character.
Bouquet Elegant and restrained, with aromas of ripe fig, raisin, dried apricot and a touch of roasted nut. Subtle floral and mineral notes offer lift and refinement.
Palate Silky, smooth and full-bodied. Flavours of golden sultana, stewed apple, toasted almond and a hint of cocoa unfold over a gently warming texture. Dry and clean on the finish, with a lingering note of stone fruit and soft spice.
Food Pairing Perfect in a classic Pisco Sour, or try it in a Chilcano with ginger ale and lime. Pairs well with ceviche, grilled white fish, soft cheeses or fresh tropical fruits.
Cellaring Unaged and meant to be enjoyed in its youthful, vibrant state. Store upright and sealed in a cool, dark place. Will remain stable for several years once opened.
Interesting Fact Barsol is one of Peru’s most respected artisanal pisco producers, and Quebranta is considered the workhorse grape of traditional pisco production—known for producing bold, characterful spirits without added aromatics or ageing.
