Production & Maturation Arette Reposado Tequila is made from 100% blue Weber agave, grown in the lowlands of Tequila, Jalisco, and crafted at the historic El Llano distillery—family-run since 1900. The spirit is double distilled and rested for 4–6 months in American oak barrels, allowing it to soften and absorb gentle notes of spice and wood while retaining the fresh agave character at its core.
Nose Inviting and aromatic with notes of cooked agave, vanilla, cinnamon and roasted pepper. Hints of citrus zest and sweet oak round out the bouquet.
Palate Smooth and well-balanced, the palate shows roasted agave, caramel, toasted almond and soft spice. Oak ageing brings a warm, nutty depth, while a subtle herbaceous finish keeps it fresh and lively.
Food Pairing Excellent with grilled prawns, slow-roasted pork, or fish tacos with lime. Also delicious alongside dark chocolate, salted nuts or fresh ceviche.
Cellaring Best enjoyed fresh for its bright agave flavour and balanced oak character. A great sipper or premium base for elevated cocktails.
Interesting Fact Arette is named after a legendary Mexican Olympic show jumping horse that won gold in 1948—symbolising national pride and traditional craftsmanship, just like the tequila itself.
