Appleton Estate Signature Blend is a quintessential Jamaican rum, crafted at one of the world’s oldest rum distilleries, nestled in the lush Nassau Valley. It’s a masterful blend of 15 rums, each aged for an average of four years in American oak barrels. Made from estate-grown sugarcane and distilled in both pot and column stills, this expression showcases Appleton’s bold, balanced and character-driven style—without added sugar or artificial flavouring.
Bouquet Bright and expressive, with aromas of dried orange peel, toasted almond, molasses and nutmeg. There’s a subtle floral lift and a base of warm vanilla and tropical fruit.
Palate Smooth and vibrant with layers of brown sugar, ripe banana, dried apricot and warm spice. A touch of oak brings structure, while citrus zest and vanilla round out the mid-palate. Finishes clean, soft and slightly smoky, with lingering notes of caramel and baking spice.
Food Pairing Ideal in a Jamaican Mule, Mai Tai or Daiquiri, but also lovely over ice. Pair with jerk chicken, grilled pineapple, spiced nuts, or banana bread for an easy tropical match.
Cellaring Ready to enjoy now. Once opened, enjoy over the next 2–3 years to keep its freshness and flavour at their best.
Interesting Fact Appleton Estate has been producing rum since 1749 and is led by Master Blender Joy Spence—the first woman in the world to hold the title. The Signature Blend is a tribute to the vibrancy of Jamaican rum culture.
