Pickering’s Gin 42% is a Scottish gin crafted at the Summerhall Distillery in Edinburgh, the first exclusive gin distillery in the city in over 150 years. This gin is based on an old Bombay recipe that had been a family secret for more than 65 years. It features a traditional London Dry style with botanicals such as juniper, coriander, cardamom, angelica, fennel, anise, lemon, lime, and cloves.
Nose: It opens with clean, fresh juniper and bright citrus notes, providing a refreshing and aromatic scent.
Palate: On the palate, Pickering’s Gin is smooth and well-balanced, offering a mix of aromatic spices like cardamom and fennel, alongside nutty hints and a subtle sweetness from anise. The citrus and juniper lead the way, followed by a lingering earthy and spicy finish.
Finish: Crisp and dry, the finish leaves a refreshing aftertaste, making it ideal for a classic G&T or martini.
This gin is celebrated for its versatility and smoothness, and it's a perfect choice for those who enjoy traditional gins with a balanced, slightly spicy edge
