Catalina Sounds Pinot Gris 2023

Winemaking
Sourced from select Marlborough vineyards, this Pinot Gris is made in a richly fruited, off-dry style. Fermented mostly in stainless steel with a small portion in seasoned oak and extended lees contact, it brings together freshness and gentle weight.

Bouquet
Fragrant and inviting with nashi pear, baked apple, and hints of honeysuckle. Soft floral and ginger spice notes add aromatic interest.

Palate
Smooth and rounded with flavours of ripe pear, stone fruit, and cinnamon spice. A touch of residual sweetness is balanced by crisp acidity and a lightly creamy texture.

Food Pairing
Pairs beautifully with pork belly, Thai green curry, roast pumpkin, or washed-rind cheeses. A great option for dishes with spice or a touch of sweetness.

Cellaring
Drink now while fresh and vibrant, or hold for 2–3 years to develop further complexity and roundness.
