Black Tears is a Cuban spiced rum unlike any other—drier, more complex, and crafted from Cuban molasses and native spices. Distilled and blended in Cuba, it’s infused with natural flavours including coffee, cocoa, and a hint of aji dulce (sweet pepper), making it an elegant, bittersweet spirit with real character. At 35% ABV, it’s smooth enough to sip yet bold enough to mix.
Bouquet Aromatic and intriguing. Notes of espresso, dark chocolate, cinnamon, and mild chilli spice with a base of caramelised sugar and toasted oak.
Palate Dry and gently spiced. Flavours of black coffee, cacao nibs, nutmeg, and vanilla unfold over a base of mellow rum sweetness. Balanced and bittersweet with a long, spicy finish.
Food Pairing Excellent with dark chocolate desserts, spiced nuts, or barbecue meats. Also perfect in a spiced rum Old Fashioned or a Cuban Mule.
Cellaring Best enjoyed within 1–2 years of opening. Store upright and tightly sealed in a cool, dark place.
