Introducing the Beach House Track Chardonnay, sourced exclusively from our esteemed Gimblett Gravels vineyard on Mere Road, boasting 100% Clone 95. Handpicked on the 22nd of February, these pristine grapes underwent whole bunch pressing straight into French oak barrels for wild fermentation, housed in a blend of puncheons (500L) and barriques (225L). The resulting blend, comprising 80% 1-year-old oak and 20% 2-year-old oak, matured for 10 months, and meticulously stirred weekly to preserve freshness and enhance mouthfeel. A testament to its finesse, 100% of the final blend embraced malolactic fermentation, bestowing a delightful brioche character and softening acidity. Delighting the senses, the nose reveals tantalising notes of grapefruit, ripe melon, and orange, intertwined with a captivating flinty essence. On the palate, it enchants with its freshness and depth, culminating in an enduring finish. This is a wine of complexity, where subtle oak, stone fruit, and flint harmonise seamlessly, offering an exquisite tasting experience.
